About the Author-
Soy autor de 16 libros, principalmente novelas, pero también de algunos libros de filosofía (tengo una licenciatura en Filosofía y un doctorado de la Universidad de Sussex) y dos libros de poesía. Nací en 1961 en Middlesbrough, en el norte de Inglaterra. Soy profesor de secundaria y doy clases de Inglés y de Ciencias Religiosas en Kent, en una Grammar school para niñas de entre 11 y 18 años. Llevo 33 años casado con una mujer maravillosa con la que tengo dos hijos y un perro llamado Arhur Perrins. Se me da bien escuchar a la gente y soy liberal. Dirijo mi propio grupo de jóvenes de Amnistía Internacional y también colaboro con otras entidades caritativas como Oxfam y Actionaid. Los domingos por la mañana ejerzo de acólito en mi iglesia. Rechazo todo tipo de fundamentalismo y creo que tengo un gran sentido del humor.
