About the Author-
Nacido en Évora en el año 1969, António Almas, reveló desde tierna edad el gusto por la lectura. Con particular interés por la ficción y el ensayo, encontró en los libros de Carl Sagan, H. G. Well, Isaac Asimov la fascinación por la ciencia y por lo fantástico. Siempre implicado en varios proyectos en el área del asociativismo juvenil, la literatura acompañó su caminata, haciendo el puente entre el bullicio de la vida cotidiana y la tranquilidad del reposo. En 1990 fue profesor en la EPRAL de Vila Viçosa, tierra donde siempre residió, y donde en conjunto con otros colegas enseñó disciplinas de un Curso de Bibliotecarios, Archivistas y Documentalistas. Más tarde fue presidente de la Biblioteca Florbela Espanca. A finales de 1999, decidió comenzar a escribir algunos apuntes, ideas y sensaciones que le despertaban los diversos temas, como la religión, el amor, o los mitos urbanos. Este cuaderno, llamado "Nosotros los marcianos", es hoy una referencia no publicada del inicio de su escritura.
Pero no sería en el campo del realismo que vendría a entregar las letras, la metáfora y la fantasía aliada a los sueños le abrieron la puerta a mundos creados por sí mismos, imágenes y sabores, sentidos y emociones.
2005 marca el inicio de una nueva aventura, con la creación de un blog. En ese espacio nació un diario que poco a poco fue construyendo, envasado por la pasión, escribía, a cubierto de un cierto anonimato para alguien que, la mayoría de las veces, no lo leía. Texto tras texto, creó un espacio que era visitado por varios lectores que lo animaban a escribir.
