أحمد أحمد بدوي: أديبٌ وشاعرٌ مصريٌّ بارِز، نالَ العديدَ مِنَ الجَوائزِ التقديريَّة؛ منها الجائزةُ الأُولى من مَجْمعِ اللغةِ العربيةِ عامَ ١٩٥٠م عن كتابِهِ «رِفاعة رافِع الطَّهْطاوي»، كذلكَ جائزةُ وزارةِ الثقافةِ والإرشادِ القَوميِّ عامَ ١٩٥٧م عن كتابِهِ «معَ الصحفيِّ المكافِحِ أحمد حلمي».وُلِدَ «أحمد أحمد عبد الله البيلي البدوي» في مدينةِ «دمياط» عامَ ١٩٠٦م، وتلقَّى تعليمَهُ الأوَّلي في مَدارسِ مَدينتِهِ بعدَ أنْ حفظَ القُرآنَ الكريمَ في أحدِ كَتَاتيبِها، وبعدَ أن حصَلَ على دَرجةِ البكالوريا الْتحَقَ بمَدرسةِ «دار العُلوم» وتخرَّجَ فيها عامَ ١٩٣٣م.عملَ مُعلِّمًا في مدرسةِ الأَوقاف، وعددٍ مِنَ المَدارسِ الحُكوميَّةِ في القاهِرة، إلى أنْ حصَلَ عَلى درجتَي الماجستيرِ والدكتوراه من كليةِ دارِ العُلومِ في أدبِ العُصورِ الوُسطَى الإسلاميَّة، فعمِلَ بالتَّدريسِ في الكُليَّةِ نَفسِها حتَّى أصبَحَ أستاذًا للنَّقدِ الأدبي، ثُم وكيلًا للكُلية، هذا فَضلًا عَن عُضويتِهِ لجَماعةِ الأَدبِ المِصْري.ترَكَ «بدوي» العديدَ مِنَ المؤلَّفاتِ الأَدبيةِ والنَّقديةِ المُهمَّة، نَذكُر مِنها: «أَثَر الثَّوْرةِ المِصْريةِ في الشِّعرِ المُعاصِر»، و«شَوْقي في الأنْدلُس»، و«مِنَ النقدِ والأدب»، و«أُسُس النقدِ الأدبيِّ عندَ العَرب»، و«شِعْر الثورةِ في المِيزان»، و«الحياة الأدبيَّة في عصرِ الحروبِ الصَّلِيبيةِ بمِصْرَ والشام»، و«الآثار المِصْرية في الأدبِ العربي». هذا إلى جانبِ ما ألَّفَه مِنَ التَّراجِم، ومنها: «رِفاعة رافِع الطَّهْطاوي»، و«القاضِي الجرجاني»، و«حَياة البُحْتري وفنه»، و«دِيوان المتنبي في العالَمِ العربيِّ وعندَ المستشرِقِين»، و«عبد القاهِر الجرجاني»، فضلًا عَن مجموعةِ قصائدِهِ الشِّعريةِ ومَقالاتِهِ الأَدبيةِ الَّتي نُشِرَتْ في العَديدِ مِنَ المَجلاتِ والصُّحفِ المِصريَّة. كما أنَّه شارَكَ في تَحقيقِ الكَثيرِ مِنَ الأعمالِ التُّراثيَّةِ المُهمَّة، ومنها: «دِيوان المُعتمدِ بنِ عبَّاد»، و«تخليص الإبريزِ في تلخيصِ باريز» لرِفاعةَ الطَّهْطاوي، و«المطرب من أشعارِ المَغْرب»، و«دِيوان أسامة بن منقذ». وقد وافتْهُ المَنيَّةُ في مَدينةِ «القاهرة» عامَ ١٩٦٤م.
